Trim Manager (Operations Team)
Job Description:
1. Support new project RFQ, provide advanced manufacturing plan including equipment and tooling investment, space and headcount;
2. Design manufacturing process and prepare all the documentations such as process flow chart, layout, PFMEA, standard work instruction, etc
3. Interface with the plant IE and production team regarding follow-up of the from RFQ quotation to SOP (+ 6 month) whenever necessary and ensure product manufacturing feasibility;
4. Design production equipment specifications (standardized), select the cost effective supplier, follow-up equipment build process, install and accept the equipment;
5. Take responsibility for efficiency & productivity improvement in plants thru continuous improvement.
6. Onsite to support plant production

Qualifications:

1. At least 8 years related working experience in a trim cover manufacturing environment out of which at least 5 years’ experience in automotive industry as manufacturing engineer will be regarded ideally.
2. Standard time analysis skill is required, MOST or equivalent certification preferred.
3. Good team Work with great communication skills.
4. Solid project management skills to meet project target such as timing, cost, delivery.
5. Familiar with Automotive requirements and standards – APQP tools & TS16949 etc. Proficiency with MS Office, and other industrial project management software, such as MS Project, AUTOCAD etc.
6. Good command of English, both oral and written.
7. Strong understanding of Lean principles.
8. Ability to work in the cross-function and international culture experience preferred.
9. Bachelor degree or above in mechanical or textile engineering. 举报 分享

SHANGHAI, China, January 25, 2016 – Magna International Inc. announced today that it is growing its footprint in China, with the establishment of a new seating engineering center in the Xuhui District of Shanghai.

The newly established engineering center will help Magna match the pace of growth in the world’s largest automotive market. The new location, which will include a seating testing lab and prototype shop, will employ approximately 60 people initially, but is expected to increase employment to more than 100 at full capacity.
