The AP accountant is responsible for handling Accounts Payable processes in CHC and its branches; to ensure all payment requests and employee expense reports are audited, all AP transactions are recorded in accordance with group standards and process the payment accurate and timely.
1. Verify all payment requests to ensure arithmetic correct, DoA compliance, valid of supporting invoices.
2. Keep all vouchers filed and provide supporting for IC charges.
3. Book AP entries in accounting system accurately and timely.
4. Provide the payment batch file to CM and ensure AP balance is cleared on a timely basis.
5. Check the deposit status to ensure all are valid and with original receipts.
6. Provide the corporate card expense aging report and take corresponding action to clear the outstanding items.
7. Conduct the "lack of invoice" payment confirmation on a monthly basis, and ensure balance is within 30 days.
8. Conduct the cash advance confirmation on a quarterly basis, and ensure balance is within 30 days.
9. Response to staff for ad hoc queries.
10. Be responsible for a smooth AP closing.
11. Prepare assigned Balance Sheet reconciliations for review on a monthly basis;
12. Keep all vouchers filed properly.
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Diploma holder who is currently pursuing professional qualifications ;
2. At least 2 years working experiences of financial accounting in multinational companies;
3. Experience with SAP;
4. Good at Microsoft Office software, especially Excel;
5. Good at English reading, writing, and listening;
* Good team player with ability to build working relationships across function;
* Good communication skills;
* Highly motivated individual and be willing to work under pressure.
