Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• Working with Globalization Program Leaders to identify modality strategy with the materials Value Stream Map (VSM) and cost analysis • Working with sourcing, modality engineering and Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) leaders to implement the strategy by building business case and exercising strong influence skills for funding and resource decisions to turn funnel opportunities into reality • Leading global and cross-functional teams to drive flawless execution of supplier transfer projects by following Phase Review Discipline (PRD) process and utilize Electronic New Product Introduction (eNPI) to ensure quality as well as meet schedule and cost target • Supporting global sourcing team to drive Toyota Model implementation in Low Cost Countries and identify GE Healthcare Sourcing strategies for assigned purchase families based on country / region technology expertise analysis • Working closely with global and regional sourcing leaders to leverage Low Cost Country (LCC) suppliers to drive Material Cost Reduction (MCR) • Take part in WWPP/S1 to drive Life Cycle Cost contents in product roadmap, and meeting hard metrics on Life Cycle Cost spend and Material Cost Reduction (MCR) operating Plan. - Position to be located at Wuxi site of GEHC - Will lead and support Supplier Transfer projects - Will also support fulfillment initiative for the assigned suppliers - Expected to travel frequently to domestic EMS supplier sites ( Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shanghai)

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with strong business acumen or Business 2. 3 years experience in Project or Program Management experience 3. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets development and analysis 4. Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time

Desired Characteristics

1. 3 years of Healthcare engineering or sourcing experience. 2. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others (cross-functionally and globally). 3. Demonstrate strong execution skills and ability to drive change. 4. Experience with eNPI and Oracle systems. 5. Certified Black Belt.
