Position Overview:
The primary role of the Specification Specialist is to create Product Specification documents. These documents provide our customers with critical information on the content, origin and strength of the products they order from Novel.

Key Responsibilities:
? Create Novel specification sheets using customer requirements provided to Novel.
o Compare the requirements requested by Novel’s customers with the characteristics of Novel’s material to ensure they match.
? Communicate technical product information between vendor and US Novel staff via Email and Web Portals.

Necessary Skills:

? Nutraceutical Industry experience is preferred.
? Must be comfortable reading scientific documents and identifying critical information.
? Candidate should have fast and accurate typing skills as well as a basic knowledge of Microsoft programs and the Metric system.
? Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
? Must be detail oriented.
? Strong writing and editing skills required.
? Must be able to prioritize work in a manner that benefits the company and accomplish tasks independently in a timely manner.
