Essential responsibilities and duties
The Marketing Analyst is in charge of providing comprehensive analysis of Faurecia Business through market studies such as customers, new countries, technologies, competitors and key players. He/She develops and maintains Marketing Information Systems market database which contains key data on application, acquisition and market shares.
The main missions of the role are:
- Support Marketing Manager to maintain existing databases and organise future activities needed, at Group level, as to analyse the following Faurecia Major Business Analysis: Faurecia Monthly Sales by Customer, Business Group and Product Family, follow up the Monthly Acquisition...
- Organize overall group competitive intelligence: collect, relay, archive information related to competitors (automotive flash and main press), and maintain competitors and OEM profiles to better understand strategies, products and alliances...
- Market planning : simulate market positions for each product/customer/geography
- Follow the current and the future market shares (by product, customers…) for Faurecia and competitors
- Market research and analysis: product, customer, technologies, competitors. Identify relevant information, conduct the required analysis (quantitative, qualitative) and present the results/recommendations in a business decision oriented format
- Prepare reporting to Division and Group levels, support Mid Term Plan process and product plans, consolidate new commercial activities (targets, orders) and analyse impact on sales planning
The ideal candidate will have/be :
Experience :
- First experience in marketing analysis in an industrial environment preferred
Skills and competencies :
- Fluent in English
- Good command of Microsoft suite, esp. excel / PPT.
- Results oriented with good written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and International mind set
- Strong analytical skills
