POSITION INFORMATION
Position: Finance Business Manager
Department: Finance
Location: Suzhou (1st Preference)/ Shanghai (2nd Preference)
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To manage the Finance Business team on new program pursuits and also to drive profitability within the business.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with Steering MD on developing business cases- including setting up internal target costs for departments, identifying areas of improvement, reviewing and presenting business cases
2. Assist in driving business performance by working with cross functional teams on cost improvement initiatives
3. Create positive team environment to motivate team members, and build strong cross-functional relationships with other departments in the company.
4. Leading and mentoring Finance- Business Team
5. Assist Steering MD or APAC CFO on ad-hoc projects
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Guide team to ensure compliance with IFRS and internal business case rules
2. Support other functions on continuous improvement activities on cost, quality etc.
3. Support new business pursuits
SPECIFIC ISSUES (SUCH AS WORKING ENVIRONMENT, BUSINESS TRIP)
1. Be able to call in the conference meeting in the nights.
2. Be adapting to business trips both domestic and overseas.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Degree:
Bachelor degree or above.
Working Experience:
1. 8 years or above finance management role, automotive industry experience preferred;
2. Knowledge/experience in cross-functional teams/departments;
3. Understanding of Manufacturing processes preferred;
4. Project Management experience preferred.
