We are looking for a Project director who has rich experience on mixed use and retail center developments in 1^st and 2^nd tier cities in China. This person would be based in Guangzhou.

JOB ROLE:
? To provide all work outputs in an accurately and timely manner.
? Capable of delivering full project management service on a large scale of commercial complex.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? To take a leading role in setting project team objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player
? To oversee the management of structural, architecture and fit out disciplines
? To plan, control and deliver projects to a successful conclusion
? To create a team environment in which everyone is committed to producing a quality outcome
? Setting up and delivery of good practice PM systems and controls
? Cost plan and project programme management
? Post contract administration
? Tender evaluation
? Review and verify contractor submittals
? Review and assess on payment and Change Orders
? Assess issues and submit monthly report

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
? At least 10 years of experience in PM required, Chinese working experience preferred
? Pro-active approach - able to identify areas of need
? Ability to influence and handle sensitive situations with diplomacy
? A flexible attitude - able to respond to the needs of the business
? Willingness to provide support and knowledge to more junior members of staff
? Ability to create clear and concise written reports and communications
? Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
? Able to manage assignments from conception through to conclusion
? Fluent in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written
? Knowledge of fundamental PM systems and procedures in the construction industry
? Recognised Degree or equivalent in related disciplines
