职位描述
We are now seeking Thai layout editors for full-time position at our local office in Shanghai for different tasks related to our production of multilingual documentation.
Field of responsibility
A layout editor will handle documents written in different languages created in a big variety of formats. The main tasks are:
- Delivery checks and text formatting / layout of translated documents in different programs- such as Microsoft Office, Adobe FrameMaker, and Adobe Indesign etc - in a PC environment.
- Proof-reading of translated documents into Thai both hard copy and different electronic formats.
- Working with databases and files of different formats.
Our requirements
We envisage that you are interested in languages, having just completed your education or having some years working experience and intending to embark upon a professional career. We expect that you are outgoing, are a good team worker and can communicate in English. In addition you should be service-minded and accurate with a very good knowledge of programs in the Windows environment. Prior working experience with DTP-software (Framemaker, Indesign etc) is a plus.
You should be native Thai or studied Thai at the University.
