Role Summary/Purpose

The Sales Leader is responsible for leading and strategically growing sales for the Software High End Solution in selected National wide Enterprise customer with focus on increasing customer satisfaction, share, margin contribution, pricing, and driving process effectiveness. Enterprise Sales Leader is responsible for overall the performance of their Team members to ensure attainment of total Enterprise Sales goals and objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide the necessary support, guidance and leadership to ensure success enabling sales team members to meet and/or exceed their personal annual sales goals. Manage, monitor and track Enterprise Account Manager Performance as it relates to their role and responsibilities (ref. Roles & Responsibilities for Enterprise Account Manager), and their adherence to the GE IP Sales Process. • Pipeline Management – Monitor and scrutinize Salesforce.com pipeline data to ensure accuracy, steady upward momentum and that each Enterprise Account Manager is maintaining their required 12-month rolling pipeline quota as well as their 36-month account plan. • Opportunity and Deal Tracking - Serve as the final reviewer of all LOR opportunities and initiate the required drivers necessary to obtain and close these orders and/or contracts. Reinforce Team Members accountability for their responsibility of accurately forecasting opportunities in SFDC including the coordination of account activities on a regional, national or global level. Oversee the Enterprise Account Manager’s responsibility of leading “deal reviews” as part of the ongoing pipeline and QMI reviews. • Coaching Enterprise Account Manager on Active Opportunities - As part of regular sales reviews with Enterprise Account Manager, discuss active opportunities, overall pipeline, strategy and next steps towards closing opportunities within the Selected Enterprise Account in the most profitable manner. • Increase Marketing Awareness – Oversee Enterprise Sales Team’s efforts in identifying solution providers that will benefit from assistance in demand generation activities. Participate events as required to support industry sales growth. • Ensuring a Professional Sales Experience for customers during all aspects of sales process and touch points including: Formal meeting agendas (reviewing with customer or Account Manager prior to meeting), formal follow-up stating sequence of events and next steps in writing, and issue resolution in a timely fashion. • Sales Activity Operations: Working with the Enterprise Account Manager, manage, monitor and track sales performance on a regular basis. Review all collected (from Enterprise Account Manager) sales projection and pipeline data on a weekly basis prior to the data/information presentation at weekly Margin Call Meetings. • Named Accounts – Enterprise Sales Leader will oversee the Enterprise Account Managers in their efforts of assuring that all Named Accounts assigned within the team meet the following criteria: Large local Enterprise The account has potential for approximately USD500K software purchases within 12 months The account should align with GE IP Enterprise Sales target segments Customer has multiple sites either domestically or internationally The company initiatives are similar across multiple sites There is a compelling event driving similar programs across the sites There is at least a move towards centralized planning, decision-making, and or purchasing as opposed to fully decentralized autonomous sites GE IP relationship is growing at the customer sites. Other GE businesses sales or purchases can be leveraged Measuring Success: Success of the Regional Manager will be based on: • Overall meeting or exceeding sales goals and objectives within assigned Enterprise Account • Maintenance and growth of pipeline • Coordinated account planning, sales strategy and tactical activity implementation along with a global success mindset.


Qualifications/Requirements

Job Environment / Travel:This is a high impact, high customer contact position requiring initiative in commercial and communication areas. Understanding how to demo, sell and position our Software solution footprint is required.Position requires candidates continue to grow from a technical and commercial aspect by self-study and education outside of the normal work environment.Travel requirements include trade shows, channel events, seminars, customer visits etc.Education• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software, Electrical, Computer or comparable engineering disciplines Qualification/Experience/Skills: • At least 3 years experience leading a sales team• At least 5 years experience in enterprise sales experience in managing opportunities using a formal sales process along with technical sales in Plant Floor Manufacturing and Plant Floor Automation Systems or candidate will have detailed knowledge of specific MES within a target market.• Working Knowledge of MS Office based products• Working knowledge of CRM systems for pipeline and opportunity management• Professional verbal and written communication skills.• Experience in closing million dollar plus opportunities• Understanding of SW /Solution Skills• Can Lead/Manage/Develop and Mentor effectively• Possesses Effective Time Management Skills• Networking abilityStrong leadership skills, problem solving and high levels of creativity and resourcefulness are required.
