Role Summary/Purpose

The Account Executive – Unconventional Gas identifies opportunities for GE businesses across the entire portfolio while representing the business to “C” level executives within key Unconventional Gas accounts in China. The Account Executive works to deploy GE technologies to help customers meet their objectives and solve key problems with a global perspective.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of customer Growth Play Book, including strategies to develop and grow incremental business for various GE P&Ls. • Drive all aspects of account growth including: strategy development, integrated account planning, and opportunity identification and value communication. • Act as single customer interface throughout ITO (and OTR as needed) to drive positive customer satisfaction and NPS. • Collaborate with EPC team to drive growth through the EPC sales channel both globally and locally for major Greenfield projects. • Successfully interface with GE Corporate and Government teams as required. • Actively participate in community events with customer. • Conduit for solutions detailed understanding of customer's business model and how GE products and services develop and deliver added value to the customer. • Develop strategic alliance agreements, technology programs and new product introductions/applications (NPI’s/NPA’s) to drive incremental and long-term business with GE. Work with Application Engineering teams to drive new solutions. • Matrix with existing functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives. Ability to structure, price, negotiate and close deals. • Identify customer total expenditure and assist business to increase existing penetration. • Utilize six sigma tools & methodologies to drive improvements in key processes for the customer.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business • Min 10 years of commercial experience • Knowledge of Unconventional Gas industry and key processes • Excellent interpersonal sales experience to senior levels of major corporations

Desired Characteristics

• Strong background in at least one of GE products and services, or similar experience with comparable competitors products• • 10+ years of direct sales experience in Unconventional Gas industry. • Solid experience in business development and/or building growth plans. • Able to develop and maintain customer relationships at the CEO staff level. • Strategic and/or product marketing experience. • Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable GE business solutions. • Adaptability: maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures
