Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

•IMA Platform Software Requirements, Architecture , Design, Coding •IMA Platform Software Integration, Testing •Understanding and execution of all assigned tasks meeting requirements within assigned budget and schedule •Maintain awareness of efforts within group and interfaces to assure technical quality excellence, timely completion of work and reviews, and responsiveness to customer / program needs •Communication of technical information between organizations and within work group •Communicate with leads on technical, cost, schedule, and personnel issues •Raise issues and possible corrective actions to leads •Understand your roles and responsibilities •Give and get performance feedback from your suppliers and customers •Ensure company compliance initiatives and training requirements are completed and followed •Assure all component designs meet requirements •Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services, global engineering, Advanced Technology Operations (ATO), and systems engineering •Support service programs, fulfillment, and New Product Introduction (NPI) as required •Communicate progress to leads and customers •Help mentor and develop less experienced personnel

Qualifications/Requirements

•5 years experience in C or Ada real time embedded software •Experience in real time embedded avionics software development •Experience with IMA and partitioned operating environments •Experience with DO-178B software certification •Experience with documentation practices and requirements •Knowledge of processing platforms, network products, and operating systems •Knowledge of DO-178B, DO-254, DO-297, ARP 4754 certification standards •Experience with ARINC 653, ARINC 664, ARINC 429, ARINC 615A, ARINC 661 and other industry standards •Experience with avionics software architecture development and integration process •Experience with avionics software requirement and interface definition and management •Complete product and software lifecycle experience •Strong English (required) and Chinese (desired) oral and written communication skills •Strong interpersonal skills •Ability to organize information and make timely and sound decisions •Ability to consistently produce high quality work in a production environment '•Able to prioritize work, and communicate openly in stressful situations •Ability to work with cross-cultural groups •Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required
