Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

•Develop and execute company-wide internal communications strategy with focus on employer of choice and employee engagement. •Lead and coordinate employee communications initiatives with GE business units in China and work with GE international and global headquarters for consistent message and execution. •Define and achieve measurable and sustainable results for employee communication benchmarking the best in the market. •Communicate GE culture and values with internal and external stakeholders through integrated communications platforms such as print and on-line media, social media, and internal website and employee publications. •Work closely with the human resource team to develop and execute communications programs as part of the broad employer brand initiative, including employee events, lectures and campus recruiting. •Lead executive communications with employees; build effective platforms for employee engagement, including town hall meetings, roundtable and social media tools.

Qualifications/Requirements

•University degree in communications, journalism or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a strong plus. •Minimum 5 years of solid experiences in communications; must have prior related experience in multinational environment or PR consultancy. •A creative, strategic thinker but pragmatic and hands-on in execution; Strong planning and priority setting skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; •Effective interpersonal / communications skills including excellent Chinese public relations writing skills and a good command of English, both spoken and written; •Comfortable around both expat and local senior management; bi-cultural.
