Regional Sales Manager – China Healthcare will be responsible for maintaining and growing business to business sales of Company products and technologies to companies within the Chinese market place. The individual in this role will increase Company sales volume through a variety of account activities, exceptional customer support and the utilization of technical medical device knowledge.

? Overall accountability for and ownership of Company product sales in specified territory.
? Interact with Company customers/prospects for the purpose of marketing and selling, evaluating performance and strength, delivery of customer product training, negotiating agreements, supporting customer product integration, and sales planning and forecasting.
? Attend trade-shows to provide sales support, generate leads, evaluate sales activities, strategies and strengths of the competition, identify new market and customer opportunities, and evaluate the success and perception of products.
? Maintain customer files and information in database.
? Prepare segment sales forecasts by dollars.
? Compare monthly sales results to goals and take corrective action where necessary.
? Provide sales input for annual strategic planning process.
? Develop business plans/strategies that support corporate growth targets and initiatives.
? Interface with Product Management to provide customer feedback on product performance and for New Product Development.
? Provide input on advertising, literature and promotion materials.
? Recommend pricing programs to remain competitive.
? Interface with Quality Assurance/Regulatory regarding any observed or reported quality/safety issues.
? Maintain knowledge and expertise in relevant markets.

COMPETENCIES:
? Advanced linguistic skills in Mandarin (Putonghua) & English are mandatory.
? Must have previous Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) medical device sales experience or have worked for a chemical company with sales to the medical industry.
? Ability to manage multiple projects involving a variety of resources with defined deadlines.
? Ability to present and sell to all levels of the organization, including executive level.
? Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
? Effective written and verbal communication skills.
? Ability to resolve complex problems in a timely and effective manner.
? Strong customer-focused orientation.
? Ability to self-manage and take initiative.
? Good computer skills including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
? Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of successful sales experience with a medical device manufacturer or in the Healthcare industry.
? Previous manufacturer-to-manufacturer sales experience.
? Clinical background preferred
? Experience or Education in a technical field preferred.
? Position will require up to 50% travel.
