Sales person for international logistics company

Scan Global Logistics, which is one of the biggest global transport and logistics companies in Scandinavia, is looking for a new colleague in our office in Beijing as Sales.

As Sales you will have a key position in relation to securing new business and maintain/developing existing client base.

In this position, we offer:

An exiting opportunity to work with a global approach situated in our office in Beijing. Your main task will be to build up your own pipeline of clients and develop and maintain those. You will have to open doors to prospect clients and it is expected that you have an outgoing and social personality.

You will be working with colleagues worldwide and have reference to the Business Development Manager – Northern China.

We expect you to:

• Have minimum 2 years of experience within the industry.
• Hold a University Degree – preferable within Marketing or Business Administration
• Be self-driven
• Be extrovert and outgoing
• Have experience from Sales Support or similar
• Knowledge of Excel
• Be experienced user of MS office
• Oral and written English at a high level fluency
• Be able to perform, even when working under pressure
• Have a structured and flexible approach towards external as well as internal customers
• Initiate and enjoys challenges on a daily basis
• Be result-orientated and responsible

General Objectives:

• Work with Network (agents and own offices) to grow existing clients and seek out new opportunities to grow existing customers’ share-of-wallet.
• Through cold calls and network information, seek out new local customers to support SGL China’s growth ambitions and strategy. Driving locally controlled business is a key strategic initiative for SGL China.
• During sales activities, actively look for opportunities to improve daily working practices, simplifying and enhancing the output of the work here in China.
