Job Description:


Education:
Degree in Electrical Engineering:
- B.S. plus 8 years of experience, or
- M.S. plus 6 years of experience, or
- Ph.D. plus 4 years of experience



Experience:


Hands on experience with:
- RTL coding and design
- Verilog/VHDL synthesis
- Design verification
- Static timing analysis and closure
- Scripting languages: shell, tcl, perl, etc.
- Production ATE support
- Diagnosis and failure analysis for low yield and test escapes




Requirements:
Strong in depth technical background in DFT:
- Scan and ATPG
- BIST
- Boundary scan (1149.1, 1149.6)
- High speed IO and mixed signal test
- DFT flow development
- Proven DFT track record on large devices








Description of Function & Responsibility



:

Provide Design For Test (DFT) direction to R&D at the concept stage of new product development
Design and develop overall test and configuration strategy for new products, and various automated production systems to implement the strategy.
Detailed project planning to ensure that all production systems are developed, debugged, and validated in time for production pilot run.
Detailed design of specific tests required to ensure products are free of hardware defects.
Design and implementation of validation plans to ensure repeatable and reliable functionality of production systems
Installation and validation of production systems at the final production facility (usually a contract manufacturer).
