Job Requirements
Ø Conducts complex competitive analysis to identify customer needs including product review, market analysis, and costing studies. Evaluates and interprets market trends. Provide insight linking observations and trends across multiple studies to impact and enhance decision-making.
Ø Develops and maintains customer relationships and stays current with changes and developments in customers’ businesses and products. Anticipates needs and opportunities and proactively recommends changes to marketing plans and strategies as appropriate.
Ø Provides information and support in new business development and new product introduction efforts, such as localized sales tools.
Ø Ensures that relevant information is being gathered and evaluated. Monitors and evaluates sales volume and margin potential of products in order to ensure appropriate data is used and targeted programs developed.
Ø Identifies new application opportunities, together with clear defined value propositions.
Ø Works closely with Business and/or Marketing Managers in the development and communication of marketing strategy and campaign. Contributes to recommendations for product, sales and marketing actions based on research and competitive findings. Develops promotional activities and programs.
Ø Prepares reports providing results of marketing research and analysis. Prepares and delivers presentations to Sales and Marketing, both internal and external as required.
Ø Designs special marketing studies. Participates and/or leads cross-functional projects as directed.
Ø Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001® technical specification, as applicable to the site/region
Education/Experience
Ø Bachelor/University degree in Business/Marketing.
Ø Minimum 5 years experience in market research.
