Position Summary:
To develop, maintain, and improve quality system that attain company goals and objectives and achieve customer satisfaction. Provide management and leadership to company’s quality and business efforts. Integrate quality department, quality system, and technologies into the organization to achieve the best possible quality effort possible at the least possible total cost in the long-term.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
As management’s representative for quality, manages department resources and coordinates the implementation of the quality management system between locations to cost-effectively facilitate quality and compliance.
Interacts routinely with all Division functional areas, as well as with customers, field sales, regulatory agencies, group/corporate management, and suppliers
Job Responsibility:
1. Communicates customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance and customer satisfaction.
2. Oversees the effective documentation and implementation of the quality management system (Such as ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949) to assure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and the standards set by corporate/division policies.
3. Works with Division leadership to ensure that individuals performing functions affecting quality are trained and demonstrate the appropriate skills and performance results.
4. Coordinates necessary personnel for internal, customer and third party quality system audits.
5. Maintains a corrective action system to analyze and correct nonconforming conditions and complaints.
6. Implements the performance measurements necessary to effectively evaluate organizational performance and trends in product quality, services, customer satisfaction and the cost of poor quality. Uses the results of performance evaluation to target improvement efforts.
7. Collaborates with Purchasing on the development and implementation of a supplier management strategy.
8. Assess supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality to ensure desired levels of performance.
9. Collaborates with Engineering on new product development and design review for quality/reliability
10. Train and coach quality team and other related personnel
11. Responsible of evaluate Win Certification quality assessments
12. Promote the use of problem-solving tools, prevention methods, quality-at-the-source and continual improvement techniques.
13. Other tasks related to Lean and 6S as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree in related Engineering or Technology field and 8~10 years of related experience required.
2. Experience in ISO 9001, QS-9000, TS 16949 and other related quality system, qualified auditor license is a plus;
3. 6 Sigma green belt or above is required;
4. Good written and spoken English
5. Good learning ability and adaptability.
6. Prefer Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, APQP and PPAP, FMEA ,SPC & MSA, and quality systems experience.
7. Empower & motivate employees, proven leadership skills as well as facilitation and problem solving skills
