We are currently looking for a Mandarin speakerwith vast real estate experience in China to take up a role in London acting as our internal connection linking the two countries' businesses. The role holder will be the UK's China-facing business developer - specificially within our London business and will drive new, cross-border occupier, leasing investment & development opportunities into and out of London.
In addition the role will:
- Facilitate Chinese occupiers and investors entering the London property market
- To track key occupier and investor activity in China and provide consistent reporting to management
- Provide China client account management support as required
- Whilst the focus of this role will be China, he/she may be involved in wider APAC activity, where appropriate.

Responsibilities
- To achieve the above objectives, the job holder is expected to actively pursue the following activities:
- Develop relationships with our agents in China (and wider APAC region as appropriate). Develop close working relationships with our brokers in the China region, providing opportunities to collaborate in the pursuit of our clients’ international business
- Prospecting. Perform regular prospecting activities (research, cold/warm calling, arranging meetings, etc.) to identify opportunities for our local/international teams
- Provide Direct Support to Clients. Develop direct relationships with clients, becoming their trusted partner responsible for their international property needs. In some cases, this will be in partnership with the agent who holds the relationship locally. In other cases, when there is no agent involved, manage the client relationship directly
- Cross-Sell Other Service Lines/Sectors. Be on the lookout for opportunities to bring in other service lines to pitches and/or to simply refer business into the CMG, Industrial, Retail, PAM, Valuation and CIS platforms from Chinese clients

Desired Skills and Experience
- Mandarin speaker, who is fluent in English
- Hands on knowledge of the Chinese market

- Understanding of office occupiers & investors and EMEA market practices is useful, but not essential.
