职位描述
Description
-Implement supplier improvement activities for defect reduction and process improvements.
-Applies Honeywell TS16949 and automotive Quality tools / processes and technical expertise to continuously improve the Quality performance of the suppliers.
-Set-up advanced quality plans as well as corrective action plans with the supply base / project team.
-Supports all supply base / project team initiatives including APQP, Six Sigma, Lean and On-Site Supplier Development.
-Drives APQP & PPAP approval process on new / actual suppliers.
-Manages sourcing projects with the supply base on new / actual suppliers.
-Audit Supplier Quality systems and / or processes, utilizing formal Honeywell TS16949 / VDA6.3 / Formel-Q audit techniques and procedures at new / actual suppliers.
-Benchmarks manufacturing processes and drives implementation of best practices.
-Represents HON at supplier location; ensures close link to other Honeywell (TS and corporate) SBM and SQ organization within the region.
-Drive the improvement of current suppliers and the development of new suppliers together with supply management.
-Responsible for the quality of Friction Material suppliers and for meeting Supplier Quality targets.
-Close collaboration with Engineering, Sourcing and Project teams utilizing email, face-to-face communication and teleconferences.
-Any other responsibility received from China SQE Leader or FM Global Supplier Quality Manager.
-Willing to travel 50% and up to 75% based on business needs in order to support APQP/PPAP and supplier development activities.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality.
-Experience in working within multinational teams.
-English – fluent spoke and written.
-Experience in Supplier Quality Development / Engineering from Automotive Industry is an advantage.
-Knowledge about aftermarket Finished Goods in Friction business is an advantage.
-Knowledge and experience with Friction Brake raw materials, Brake Pads, Disc/Rotors, Calipers, Pistons, Master Cylinders.
-Traditional or Fine Braking sheet metal stamping, machining, castings is a plus.
-Minimum 3 years related work experience in the automotive industry.
-Experienced Supplier Quality Engineer or complementary skills e.g. Product or Manufacturing Engineer.
-Effective team work skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work in a matrix environment, multi-tasking, working with minimal supervision.
-Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to prioritize and execution of action plans.
-Ability to meet commitments; results oriented.
-Quality practices: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, TS16949, VDA 6.3, Formel-Q audits or similar audit experience, SPC, etc.
-Good project management, Green Belt / Lean Expert is a plus
