Overall Purpose of Job
This should be a broad overview of this position’s function. Include the overall scope of the position and the authority this position possesses in terms of programs/ projects/ operations and establishing policy.

？ Responsible for procurement and strategic sourcing of assigned commodities, materials or services necessary to support AP specific site, region or global purchasing. In accordance with published Global Indirect Purchasing Procedures to support corporate initiatives.


Major Responsibilities
List the major responsibilities and accountabilities of this position. Include quantifiable data where appropriate (i.e. budget dollars, etc.)

？ Work within multi-plant (JV and WOFE) structure to drive plant indirect strategies and actions to achieve budget and reduce cost
？ Responsible for sourcing and supplier management for indirect commodity including manufacturing MRO commodity, compliance with global indirect sourcing process
？ Lead commodity RFQ (request for quotation) or bidding project
？ Work closely with commodity manager/operating plant to meet savings & GCS target
？ Input for GFE list through regional commodity and align with commodity strategy
？ Work with the operating plant to track project progress and update progress into the project tracking database,
？ Manage supply base including creation or renewal of contracts, purchase orders or agreements
？ Drive business plans and performance with top suppliers.
？ Conduct supplier assessments for potential new suppliers
？ Recommend cost savings proposal including make versus buy analysis, alternate sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria
？ Maintain all records and documentation, of requests for quotation purchase order initiation, cost reduction reporting and all other daily transactions in accordance with established TRW Automotive policies and procedures.
？ Support Regional and Global Commodity Manager on monthly/regional reporting

Education & Work Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business, Engineering or related field.

Language: Fluent Chinese with a strong ability to communicate in English.


Experience: 2 or 3 years experience of global sourcing in foreign companies. Experience with global or regional sourcing processes and decision making will be an added advantage.
