Purpose
IKEA FOOD is also about encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more, making it fun for everyone, offering great food at low prices, giving visitors a tasty reason to return again and again, and providing co-workers with a chance to rest and re-charge.

Mandate
You are a member of the Store Management team. You lead and manage IKEA FOOD and implement the IKEA FOOD concept to reach the goal for IKEA FOOD to help the IKEA store sell more IKEA home furnishings products and support the IKEA position as the leading home furnishings company.
You support your co-workers and managers, using the HR idea, so that they can carry out the IKEA FOOD concept. This involves generating store traffic, converting visitors to customers, strengthen the low-price profile and the Swedish identity of the IKEA store.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
Quality and Food Safety
-Operate IKEA FOOD in accordance with legislation. Accountable for operating the IKEA FOOD areas within the IKEA store in accordance with IKEA Quality, Food Safety and Environmental requirements. Ensure that the health and safety of visitors and co-workers meets all IKEA and national and local standards and regulations and that a HACCP program is implemented and followed.

Commerciality
-Maximise vitality and commerciality of IKEA FOOD in your store to increase sales and profitability according to your goals, utilising the appropriate national and international benchmarking tools and best-practice; for example merchandise planning, sales KPIs, sales steering, 3 Aces & 1 king and price & quality ladder

Leadership HR & Communication
-Ensure that all co-workers in the IKEA FOOD team understand the IKEA Concept and how this impacts on their specific roles. Ensure understanding among your co-workers of the basic IKEA principles regarding merchandise planning, sales steering, 3 Aces & 1 king and price & quality ladder, etc

Efficiency
-Ensure your team is working in an efficient, lean and simple way in order to maximise the efficiency of the department through a process oriented workflow supported by flexible staff planning
-Business Navigation
-Take an active part in creating the store business plan and ensure that the IKEA FOOD input is based on conceptual and strategic input, international and national Business Plan and local needs; to work with the Kitchen Production Manager, Commercial Manager Restaurant and Commercial Manager SFM & Bistro to ensure they have in place their own specific area action plans to achieve the overall IKEA FOOD plan and that these are regularly monitored and feedback and support is given
