职位描述

Position Summary:
Accountable for championing the Division’s technology and innovation process while providing a cohesive vision to the organization and their Staff driving new product & process development, marketing and product integration. Determine and develop breakthrough product design, technologies, systems, & processes that create solutions for customer’s unmet needs and divisional growth. Develop collaborative partnerships, as well as external institutions and manufacturers, for development of technologically relevant systems solutions. Continually benchmark against products & processes by thorough analysis of all existing markets, potential new markets, & adjacent markets

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Report to the BUM. Serves as the liaison expert of technology vision with the Division’s technical engineering (e.g. new products, development schedules)

Essential Functions:
1. Assists in the development and management of the execution of breakthrough strategies related to innovative product development and profitable commercialization with impact on profitable Division growth.
2. Assumes responsibility for assisting in the creation of technology roadmaps that focus engineering resource on high potential/growth markets.
3. Provides vision relative to technology, market trends, government regulation and customer needs as they relate to future state products. Assists Division in recommending capital investments and process improvement projects.
4. Works with Groups and Divisions to develop and maintain new product development portfolios that align with Group and Division growth objectives.
5. Liaisons Division’s visions with the Corporate and Groups' knowledge-sharing and project collaboration.
6. Assists in the development and implementation of "best practice" engineering and product development protocols within Division standards.
7. Collaborates with Corporate’, Groups' and Divisions' business teams, suppliers and potential customers to develop a market driven business model that anticipates the needs of the customer and provides with first mover advantage in growth markets.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree in a related technical or business discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
2. Knowledge of engineering and marketing principles, industry practices, company and competitor products, technology and service capabilities.
3. Knowledge of business, operational processes and proposal development
4. Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving / resolution skills and a team focus.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to Division and top management, customer and employees.
