PRIMARY FUNCTION
Sets up, adjusts and operates various welding machines, presses, shears, brakes, flangers and expanders. Set up, tear down and maintain equipment and fixtures; Performs layout, tack weld, and other tasks that may be required in tank fabrication.
TYPICAL DUTIES
- Performs work in some or all of the following work centers:
- bottom welder (includes perf LVB holes)
- projection welder (includes perf LVB holes)
- seam welder (includes Flanging)
- Layout (includes rod stack)
- Attends work on a regular basis.
- Ensures compliance with all safety and housekeeping practices and company policies and procedures.
- Performs routine machine and equipment upkeep
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Comprehend written materials such as safety, quality and operating instructions
Perform basic math functions
Experience in a manufacturing environment
