MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Resolve client technical issues on Tier1 level:
o Provide by phone, emails and Desk-side support
o Isolate and determine root cause of technical problem based on client input and remote management technology
o Troubleshooting and analyzing computer system errors
o Determine business impact of problem based on Business Unit criteria
o Provide remote technical support for hardware (printers, desktop, laptop, drivers, monitors, and MHDs) and software (internally developed applications, productivity, computer operating systems, internet applications, and various drivers)
? PC deployment, configuration and distribution
? Assist with the testing of new or upgraded PC software and hardware releases as requested
? Asset Management tasks to maintain hardware and software
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION REQUIRED
? Bachelor's degree OR 8 years of work experience in lieu of a 4 year degree or a combination of work and education to equal a 4 year degree
? Major in Computer Science, Management of Information System, E-commerce is preferred
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
1-2 years of IT experience in Help Desk or Technical Desktop Support
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
? General IT knowledge (Windows XP/7, Office Suite 2003/2010)
