You will be working in the Customer Enabling and Technical Marketing Team of the Open Source Technology Centre (OTC) of Intel's Software and Services Group. This team drives customer adoption of Open Source Technologies and operating systems in various market segments including Mobile, In-Vehicle Infotainment, PC and Data Centre. You will primarily work on Android. The scope of team’s activities include Customer POCs and Solutions Architecture, design-win and design-in technical engagements with our customers and partners, technical collateral, field/customer training and product/customer demos. This is an opportunity to develop and apply technical knowledge along with strong problem solving skills.

Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Design-win, Design-in and Architectural support to OEMs and Operating System solution vendors

· Responding to customer questions, concerns and technical issues under a contracted SLA

· Understand customer Architectures and map to Intel offerings; Identify and close technical gaps

· Building, compiling, packaging open source and internally developed components and projects to provide a complete solution for customers

· Develop customer and external facing technical collateral that includes Release notes, Technical Trainings

· Deliver customer and field training on Android-on-IA

· BSP, Driver and OS level debug

Qualifications include:

· Strong technical background in Linux based Open Source Operating Systems in general and specifically Android. Successful candidates should have hands-on experience developing, porting and/or debugging on Android based platforms

· Proven experience in the system level integration of software components, building, packaging and release processes.

· Broad software engineering experience including development, deployment, customization and support

· Development experience with C, C++, Java, Dalvik, HTML5 and Java Script

· Proven communication and presentation skills.

· Demonstrated technical writing skills. Creating and delivering product demonstrations.

· Strong problem solving skills and ability to apply critical thinking

· Ability to work independently and proactively, multitask effectively and exhibit strong influencing and leadership
