Organisational Reporting

The GL Team leader reports to the GL Process Leader

Mission

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Maintain chart of accounts and work as key user of FI module in SAP
Control the closing schedule during month end closing
Review reports prepared by team members including TB trends, BS review, bank reconciliation and PRC & IFRS GAAP difference reports to make sure the Accounting data accuracy
Lead GL accountant to deal with special or urgent business cases
Closely communicate with business units to understand their requirements by attending service review meeting and other interfaces
Set up and measure key performance index and continuously improve the performance
Perform ICQ review with the team, find out the gaps between current process and best practice and continuously improve the level of internal control
Perform periodic people management review process per HR policy for employee retention and employee development
Candidate Requirements
Educational Requirements
Bachelor or above, major in Accounting
Experience
Above 5 years general ledger accountant experience, tax knowledge and people management experiences are preferre
