PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To assist the Senior Sales & Marketing Director in achieving the goals of the China market through the efficient undertaking of the financial planning & analysis function.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

• Conduct market revenue and EBIT performance analysis and help sales & marketing in developing consequential action plans
• Establish analysis templates; conduct performance reviews monthly with sales & marketing
• Develop forecast of market revenues & EBIT
• Conduct product business performance monitoring and analysis, including gross margins tracking
• Develop sound pricing & margins structure of all products sold in the China market
• Develop conceptual framework for product margin controls
• Coordinate between Sales & Marketing team and Accounting team by establishing strong controls on the Promotional Work Plan (PWP) process. Ensure that relevant sales and marketing expenses are properly approved, tracked and substantiated with relevant invoices. Also provides administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team on PWP-related activities.
• Liaise between DPF China Sales & Marketing team and the distributors and/or retailers on matters related to PWP claims
• Support the Sales & Marketing team on the annual budget process (sales volume, price & mix analysis, cost to sales ratio) for integration to the total China budget numbers
• Other ad-hoc business planning & analysis tasks

Excellent communications and relationship management skills.

• University degree in Accounting. CPA/CFA/CMA/MBA preferred, but not required
• At least 5 years previous relevant work experience in a competitive FMCG environment
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• High-level integrity and honesty
• Highly results-oriented and could thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong ability to integrate with other cultures; open-minded and flexible.
• Decent level of English writing and speaking skills.
