Function
Verify and monitor product/process running compliance with Wrigley standard shiftily.
Lead QC team and work together with Prod/Eng. team to take deep investigation and set up correction action if any quality deviation on-line.
Supervise the routine activities of shift QA Technicians and QA Inspectors: sampling, defect inspection, QCP (Quality Control Point) /GMP/CCP/OPRP inspection, on-line sensory evaluation, KQT test etc.
Background
Shift QC supervisor reports to QC Manager.
Reporting to shift QC supervisor are shift QC technician and QC inspector.
Wrigley Guangzhou Factory produces chewing gum for both the domestic market and export markets.
Quality Assurance Department, as part of the manufacturing operations, routinely conduct quality assurance from the supplier quality management, incoming ingredient and package material quality, process quality control, finish product quality test, together with integrated quality management system to make sure legal compliance as well as Corporate quality standards.

Principal Activities Performed by the Incumbent
§ Supervise the routine activities of shift QC Technicians and QC Inspectors, like sampling, defect inspection, QCP (Quality Control Point) /GMP/CCP/OPRP inspection, on-line sensory evaluation, keeping quality test, etc.
§ Engage and develop team members with Mars Leadership Capabilities’ skills.
§ Quality Deviation handling on-line, with investigation, corrective action, prevention action.
§ Maintain On-Hold product procedure and quality deviation handling procedure running on shop floor.
§ Develop, implement and follow-up on quality procedures, standard and process control plan.
§ Daily evaluate the processing data; periodically do statistic and analyses on processing data and raise suggestion for improvement.
§ Assist Process Quality Manager to design and establish processing working program and management framework to ensure the effective, smooth running of the process QA team.
§ Assist preparation for quality audit, new QM project.
§ Support QC Manager to meet organization plans and assure the attainment of QA Dept goals and objectives.
Incumbent Requirements
1. Major in Food Engineering, Food Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, pharmaceutical
2. More than 5 years experience in food or cosmetic industry, with at least 2 years experience in process quality control.
3. Good communication and influencing skill, problem solving skills.
Be fluent in both spoken and written English.
