This is a Famous US Auto Parts Company.


Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the communication of Report Unit product strategies and forecasting with applicable Commodity Buyer.
2. Responsible for communicating program concerns related to suppliers to the program.
3. Liaison between the Report Units, Commodity Buyers, Supplier Development, Program Managers and suppliers
4. Participate and support Buy Vs. Make, Design, Material Usage, Localization, Logistics of new projects.
5. Initiate and support early sourcing, development and production tooling, “on-time” delivery for early development proto type parts, supporting and participating in buyer negotiations, provide advance purchasing assistance and negotiations, interface with packaging engineering, review & confirm supplier quotes achieve or exceed all product line expectations as cost targets, timing, tooling, technology, quality and service prior to sourcing approval.
6. Support and provide new supplier cost estimates / technology leads to help engineering with design decision reviews.
7. Facilitate and support supplier technology reviews with engineering, quality, and manufacturing for high risk parts.
8. Communicate the identified risks by assessment, and provide the mitigation action plan for the high risk items with RUs.
9. Facilitate, support or participate in the Flawless Launch Workshops (lean, risk, process, cost improvements), competitive assessment workshops, supplier interface meetings, and early plan for sourcing initiatives to achieve GSM supply base initiatives.
10. Track, monitor changes, maintain and report on Quality Volume Cost (QVC) metric deliverables by tracking of early sourcing / strategic sourcing, on time request for supplier quotations issues, quote reviews, on-time sourcing, on-time Production Part Approval Process approved, and manufacturing site Purchase Order release.
11. Facilitate material cost improvement plan initiatives to achieve & exceed the cost savings designated as Budget Target of new projects.
12. Execute necessary administration of purchasing contracts and agreements.
13. Establish and maintain effective relations with key strategic suppliers.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree or above (Business and/or Mechanical degree)
2. At least 5years relevant purchasing/ project working experience in multinational company (preferably in automotive in automotive industry)
3. Deep knowledge of components sources, price trends and supplier base in Asia market. Proven experience in product costing, supplier evaluation and auditing, contract management skills and etc; Good project management and communication skill with multi-culture team
4. Familiar with MS Word/Excel/Project/PPT, SAP
5. English is fluent
6. Willing to travel (Domestic & International)
