In this position, you will serve as the GEO silicon/component expert on technical issues in customers' platform designs. You will provide technical leadership on debug and validation to both end-customers and local TMEs/PAEs. The primary responsibility involves fast turnaround triage support on key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) platform designs. Other responsibilities include enabling/training OEM, ODM customers and local TMEs on silicon validation, debug technologies and new platform technologies. You will also be the validation contact point to engage with OSVs and ISVs (in partnership with SSG) to harvest customer validation data that can be utilized by internal validation teams. You will also be the bridge to promote synergies on software validation plans between key OSVs/ISVs and Intel. This is a China local hire position in Shenzhen only. This role may require occasional domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

You should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Qualifications for an ideal candidate include:
- At least 5 years of platform design or similar experience.
- In-depth technical knowledge on Intel Architecture and one or more platform hardware and software technologies, such as QPI, VT, AMT, power management, machine check...etc.
- Good team player with strong problem solving and multitasking skills, effective and can-do attitude.
- Experience on SOC design, validation and debug a plus.
- Working knowledge on post-silicon debug and validation tools from Agilent, Tektronix, LeCroy and Intel.
- Good understanding on Intel's validation processes, disciplines and methodologies (especially SV and CV).
- Understanding on EV / SI methodologies a plus.
- Ability to comprehend internal / customers' validation plans, test cases and methods to identify holes, overlaps and promote synergies.
- Ability to influence internal technical and marketing organizations and good stakeholder management skills.
- Experience on develop, coordinate, monitor, facilitate and execute cross-corporate, cross-division engagement plans a plus.
- Experience in business engagements with outside companies and customers / partners a strong plus.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Fluent in Mandarin.
