Position Summary:
Purchasing Supervisor leads and administrates the purchasing staff. The position are responsible for ensuring that materials supply equals demand, optimizing overall cost of purchasing, supporting the business development effort with current and potential customers, and development / implementation of purchasing strategies.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Purchasing Supervisor reports to Supply Chain Manager. Interfaces routinely with Planning, QA/QC, Production and Supply chain divisions.

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and improve procurement & sourcing procedure to meet quality system requirement
2. Work with Division to develop global sourcing strategy and execute Network Procurement program
3. Identify, develop & qualify suppliers to support the sourcing strategies
4. Responsible for the supplier management (database, process capability, corrective actions etc), cost reduction, quality assurance, and on-time delivery
5. Develop contract management system and ensure effective execution on contract negotiation, doc control, and contract renew etc.
6. Coordinate effective and smooth communication between supplier and the company’s internal team
7. Key raw material market study and pricing strategy driving for continuous cost reduction
8. Charge of function PPP setting, performance analysis and CIP.
9. Leading function team, define function PPP target and make regular performance analysis and CIP
10. Function budget setting and control
11. Other duties from company

Qualifications:
1. At least 3-5 years of related experience in procurement and sourcing, rubber industry is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of purchasing leader experience in the manufacturing environment.
3. Ability to interface multifunctional groups
4. Strong communication and analytical skills.
5. Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
6. Experience with the current ERP system.
7. Knowledge in manufacturing, supply chain mgt will be consider as additional qualification
8. Excellent command of English both writing and oral
9. Occasional travel may be required
