Responsibilities:

Develop production strategies align to plant long-term direction.

- Lead production function to meet quality, capacity, and productivity objectives. Reduce FTFR, scrap, and assembly cycle time; improve production OTD, productivity, working efficiency.

- Manages production people and organize production activities to meet daily target. Follow production process to ensure product quality, reduce scrap.

- Implement Eaton Lean System and continuous improvement efforts of the plant.

- Ensures compliance with pollution and environmental regulations.

- Support localization projects for continuous cost reduction.

Develops future managers from within organization.

- Push safety work, ensure person and equipment safety. Avoid injury on work site.

- Drive production department to achieve EBE, BSC, ELSS, EQS goal.

Build production team capability.

- Safety: Work with EHS team to deploy Eaton MESH program on shop floor. Ensure a safe working environment, which includes proper PPE, and safety procedure and discipline of daily work, etc.

- Productivity:

1.Ensure to meet daily, weekly, month production goals.

2.Implement standardized work and other lean tools to improve productivity.

3.Manage all three shifts to improve the working efficiency and continuous improvements.

4.Eliminate or reduce the rework parts through Total Process Control.

5.Reach the designed line capacity through leverage planning and TPM activities.

6.Periodically review the equipment plan, and make strategic plan according to strategic plan of company.

- Quality

1.Customer Complaints and scrap reduction are key measurable indicators. Identify and implement countermeasures for customer complaints including periodically review to ensure compliance.

2.Identify and correct the quality problem in time. Lead a team to sole problem when necessary.

3.Assure that quality, environmental system and procedures that meet the requirements of the standards (ISO/TS 16949, VDA6.1, ISO 14001) are maintained and effectively used through the manufacturing process.

4.Educate all associates about the concept of internal customer, and the importance of the internal customer.

5.Achieve the cost of quality goals; implement effective methods to reduce the non-conformance cost.

6.Make sure that all the associates understand the quality system requirements and the related quality tools such as SPC, etc.

7.Monitor and control CPU (cost per unit) and take continue measures to reduce the manufacturing cost.

Requirements:

- University degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.5 year + experience as production supervisor or manager in automotive industry

Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 or VDA Quality System

- Good general business/general knowledge of manufacturing management in manufacturing capabilities, processes, quality, localization, maintenance and etc.

- Good understanding and practical knowledge of EBS, ELS, Pro-launch, Six-Sigma, SRM, and etc.

- Knowledge of product costing, manufacturing standards development, use and application of state-of-the-art tooling systems, flexible and conventional gaging practices and procedures, and advanced computer systems and experience.

- Administrative knowledge for strategic and profit planning: financial procedures, capital project analysis, labor relations, and etc.

- Good English and Chinese communication skills, both written and oral

- Excellent PC skills

- Experience and ability in managing, training and developing personnel to prepare them for advancement

- High personal integrity and strong commitment of ethical behavior.
