职位描述

1. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Deliver booking and sales results based on the Annual Operating Plan developed for the region and significantly and profitably grow market share in the region.


2. REPORTS TO: (Title): Regional Sales Manager (Asia)


3. TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Meets or exceeds territory sales revenue forecast as established by the Regional Sales Director and Business Unit management

b. Make sales calls with/without local partner and build relationships with key customers in the territory.

c. Manage current business partners in China. Identify gaps in market coverage, propose actions and identify new local partners (primary or niche). Bring on-board new local partners

d. Develop solid project pipeline

e. Facilitate required training to partners’ personnel on commercial issues. Perform sales and technical pitches and presentations to customers when required

f. Provide company with regular market intelligence, market assessment, trends, and competitive assessment in the region, as well as with new product ideas and sales growth strategies. Participate on New Product Development, marketing, and sales teams as required

g. Team work with other BUs for business opportunities

h. Other tasks as assigned by the supervisors for business purpose


4. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

a. Closely work with Corp BU sales;

b. Closely work with staff in all function areas across FMT Asia commercial operations and Corp BU;


5. SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

a. Strong sales: be able to capture the project based sales opportunities and turn the opportunities into sales;

b. Good team working spirit and communication skills: be able to handle the matrix organization relationships, cross-cultural environments and synergy with other BUs;

c. Key account management: be able to manage the key partners who have large organization and make sure the interest of IDEX can be protected.

d. Innovative thinking: able to think out of box and deliver innovative solutions;

e. Result oriented: take the full responsibility for the result and willing to take the challenge;

f. Business integrity: fully understand and comply with multinational company’s business practice.


6. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

a. 5+ years sales experience;

b. Oil and gas industry background preferred;

c. Proven successful career in sales management fields in a multinational company in instruments and flow meters sales field;

d. Solid sales experience in project sales, key account, distribution and OEM;

e. In-depth understanding of Greater China market dynamics and business culture;

f. Willingness to travel up to 50% of time;

g. Fluent English & Chinese speaking is required;
