Department: Manufacturing Planning
Reports to: Voice Ops Materials Manager
Position Purpose: To ensure material is available in our regional warehouses to meet customer demand, and company revenue goals.

Responsibilities:
? Monitor backlog daily. Initiate, release, and monitor contract manufacturers to build and move product to FG.
? Monitor FG at the various warehouses around the world and move product to support customer demand.
? Monitor FG product to maintain company goals on freight cost and inventory turns.
? Monitor rework needs with our contract manufacturers.
? Work with sales, customers and product management to understand product trends and demands.
? Review all BOM changes after an EC release to insure accuracy, and manage the implementation of those changes at our CMs.
? Perform all set up activities in PeopleSoft when a new part number or BOM is released.
? Other duties as needed.

Experience and Qualifications:
? BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience.
? 3-5 years experience working with an ERP system within a high tech manufacturing environment. Fourth Shift and/or People Soft experience desired.
? Prefer experience in and/or knowledge of demand flow manufacturing methods.
? Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
? Excellent communications skills to interface with other departments.
