职位描述
1. FORMAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB
1.1 Education /preference (Minimum requirement)
Bachelor Degree in Electronics, Higher National Diploma (HND) in instrumentation, petroleum or similar.
For certain Roxar products craft certificate as mechanic or electrician is preferable.
Long and relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
1.2 Training / courses
? Conducted all relevant product training courses leading to the title Certified Service Engineer.
? Conducted required Roxar internal and external training courses.
? Trained in all relevant Roxar IT tools and systems.
? Trained in internal procedures describing the workflows/-processes within Support/Service.
1.3 Experience
? Service Engineer: Minimum 6 months of training and field experience with relevant product services.
? Senior Service Engineer: Minimum 24 months of training and field experience as a Certified Service
Engineer with relevant product services.
? Good interpersonal and communication skills.
2. REPORTING LINES
2.1 Reports to:
RFM Service Manager.
2.2 Deputized by:
As directed by Regional Manager
3. FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General responsibilities
? Deliver excellent services to customers and ensure good commercial results.
? Take ownership in and adhere to QA&HSE-related procedures to this function.
? The Service Engineer function is varied and complex, the performance demands a high degree of
independence. He/she must be prepared to travel and conduct service assignments both domestic
and abroad.
? Strictly adhere to the company's current procedures and guidelines, among them
mobilizing/demobilizing, updates of databases, use of time registration tools etc.
? Have a strong oral and written command of the English language.
? Focus on selected targets in collaboration with superior, and have an ability to fully complete
assigned tasks.
Specific responsibilities
? Utilization of the Roxar products in consultancy and evaluation projects either in-house or within
client's offices.
? Participation in relevant technical training courses, conferences, presentations, exhibitions, client
workshops and demonstrations for self-development.
? Assisting on preparation of training material for standard and customized courses, and act as
training instructor.
? Perform field service as advised by superior and staff in conjunction with the Customer, including
service on behalf of overseas offices at sites of overseas clients, carrying out
installation/commissioning, repairs and maintenance.
? Ensure that all documentation, circuit diagrams, service data and manuals are of the correct revision
to undertake service on specific product types.
? Maintain drawings (As built) for documentation
? Maintain spare kits and inventory records to the highest standards, and ensure all anomalies are
quickly and effectively reported and resolved.
? Ensure that all tools and test equipment are adequate to perform service required, and that all test
equipment issued is calibrated at the times specified.
? Ensure return of completed service documentation, service reports, time sheets, expense claims and
service rendered form etc.
? Maintain a product service related knowledge database for existing Roxar products.
? May be requested to perform specific and agreed tasks as defined through Goal statements in PDI.
? Provide the superior with information that he/she has:
o Updated and appropriate training
o Offshore certification as required
o Correct medical certificates
o Appropriate tools, clothing, documentation etc.
? Contribute to increased knowledge within Roxar by highlighting issues that are discovered on-site
and add them to the FAQ database
For the Senior Service Engineer the tasks could involve more specialist work due to a deeper and broader
experience.
4. AUTHORITY
4.1 Technical authority
The function has the authority to make necessary decisions required in order to run the daily Service
activities within those frames and goals defined by the Service Manager Metering.
4.2 Personnel authority
According to authority level delegated from Service Manager Metering.
4.3 Financial authority
According to TCE# 00778 Power of Attorney/Delegation of Attorney.
TRADE COMPLIANCE - SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
TRADE COMPLIANCE USERS
(Definition: Trade Compliance Users are persons who have some level of compliance
responsibilities by adhering to the company's Trade Compliance procedures.)
Specific Responsibilities:
? To ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with
the company's Trade Compliance procedures and to escalate any concerns or
questions to the local Gatekeeper.
