Job Description:
This is a position in Corporate Strategic Procurement (CSP) that has enterprise wide responsibility for sourcing indirect goods and services including IT hardware, software, health benefits, temporary workforce, technical consulting, relocation services, sales and marketing services and global travel services.
The commodity manager would be responsible, but not limited, for: Developing and executing the overall SMP commodity sourcing plan including influencing and aligning with the key business partners across the region. Must be able to balance/influence internal customer needs with corporate business goals. Must be able to work effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and convey those requirements to potential and existing suppliers as well as into the overall strategic sourcing plan. Responsible for developing supplier commercial engagements, including supplier evaluation and selection, contract negotiations, and executing the maintenance of the contract. Supplier Management: overall quality and supplier performance management, create and implement continuous improvement plans and cost savings roadmap, drive supplier review meetings and escalation paths for systematic issues/excursions. Perform market intelligence gathering and benchmarking analysis.

Qualifications
An MBA / MS (or equivalent) with over 10 years of relevant work experience. Experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing or a related field like finance would be preferred. Knowledge of Sales & Marketing would be a plus.

Skills Required: -Strong communication skills both in English and Chinese; Must be comfortable working in globally dispersed teams, have strategic thinking ability and strong analytical and influencing skills. -Must be self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity and have strong project management skills. -Possess strong business /technical acumen, ability to work in a complex environment, comfort with and willingness to drive change, passion and commitment. -Domestic or regional expertise of assigned commodities.
