Qualifications
Qualifications:
? University / University of applied sciences / University of cooperative education: Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology required
? Main focus on Telecommunication Engineering desired
? Sound knowledge in embedded software design (C/C++ and Assem¬bler)
? Experience with structured and object oriented software development methods
? Experience in design, documentation and test of DSP software
? Expert in debugging and error analyzing of wireless communication systems
? Experience with incircuit emulators and debuggers as Trace32/JTAG
? Familiar with release management and configuration processes
? Knowledge in the field of communication protocols (WLAN, GSM, UMTS, LTE)
? Knowl¬edge in Java, xml, Perl, awk, sed, Mat¬lab, bash, etc
? Team-oriented and self dependent working style
? 3-5 years of job experience, LTE experience is a must
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Firmware Development Engineer (f/m)
? Contribution to definition of FW modules
? Design, documentation, implementation and verification of LTE FW modules
? Regular execution and observation of test results
? Complex system issue analysis and correction in cooperation with Chip, Algorithm, Firmware and PS experts using equipment traces and debugging tools
? Support and maintenance of FW modules, including analysis of questions and defect reports from customers
? Implementation of build- and release management tasks
