Job Description

As a Finished Goods process/equipment engineer, you are responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and develop best practices within the production process. You will also maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.    

                            

Coordinate, Create, And Maintain Production Processes

              ?  Review, discuss, and gain collaborative input for process changes and updates

              ?  Evaluate process consistency amongst sites and align as needed

              ?  Problem solve, troubleshoot, and provide resolution to process and production related issues

              ?  Implement, communicate, monitor, and support change

              ?  Support processing tools to increase area efficiency, productivity, and optimization

              ?  Utilize the 6S methodology to create and maintain an organized, clean, safe, and efficient setting that enables the highest level of value-added performance

              ?  Develop new processes and floor layouts based on production needs

              ?  Evaluate existing process flows

                            

Communicate With Internal/External Groups

              ?  Interact with internal and external groups (such as production managers, supervisors, engineers, marketing, sales, etc) to determine areas of need

              ?  Provide timely communication to those affected by change

              ?  Collaborate with other sites on change ideas

              ?  Update production on any issues being addressed

              ?  Participate in various departmental meetings to identify areas of opportunity for process improvements

                            

Support area and corporate quality programs

              ?  Participate in audits as a subject matter expert or process steward if needed

              ?  Assist with evaluation of current and future quality initiatives

              ?  Monitor processes to ensure quality guidelines are followed

              ?  Modify processes as needed to support quality

              ?  Work with other quality groups as needed to ensure quality

                            

Provides a Safe Work Environment

              ?  Comply with company safety, labor, and ethics policies

              ?  Encourage a culture of safety and recognize contributions made to supporting a safe work environments

              ?  Participate in process improvement activities

              ?  Identify errors before they get to the next step

              ?  Provide timely feedback when quality, safety, or ethical issues arise

              ?  Follow and support company-wide and department safety procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and accident-free work environment

              ?  Promote high integrity processes that will enable immediate sharing of problems, issues and solutions with management team

                            

Participate in Projects

              ?  Participate in meetings as a subject matter expert

              ?  Assist with analysis of current and future processes/systems

              ?  Complete tasks by assigned due date

              ?  Communicate status of tasks

              ?  Report issues, risks, changes, and quality concerns to the project manager and team

              ?  Assist with documentation and training needs for new processes

                            

Education

Bachelor’s degree above and major in engineering.

                                          

Experience:

?            Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/ outside MXA and to interact with production/engineering team to improve process health continuously.

?            Excellent English skill both in Oral and Written.

?            Excellent project management.

?            Skillful at Word/Excel/PowerPoint, CAD etc.,

?            Strong communication skills & teamwork ability
