Job Description

For Siemens Ltd. China Smart Infrastructure Strategy and Business Development team in Shanghai, we are looking for a Strategy Consultant who will lead the market intelligence analysis. You will work in an international environment and will have great exposure to senior management of the global and local Siemens organization.

What you will do

• Deliver regular report on macro economy and intelligence in target market, i.e., infrastructure, power utility, industry, and building
• Analyze and monitor competitor dynamics and trends, formulate implications to be presented to senior management
• Undertake market intelligence analysis in selected verticals or companies
• Act as a MI coordinator to support global strategy team and local BUs to finish the market intelligence analysis
• Create and deliver strategic and fact-based insight into the business that enhances sustainable and profitable growth
• Support market report procurement
• Prepare business review materials, and presentations for top management

Position requirements:

• Master’s degree or above
• Excellent speaking and writing ability, both in English and Mandarin
• Strong interest in power and energy area. Major in STEM fields, i.e., science, technology, engineering (incl. IT), or mathematics
• Above 2 years' experience in strategy consulting, or a similar role
• Advanced data analysis skills, enjoy working with data
• Attentive to details: obsessed with grammar, format, and data accuracy

Preferred qualifications:

• Proven track record of high performance and outstanding achievements in your previous positions
• Technology industry experience, especially at energy or electrical engineering industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A plus if having relevant international experience (study / work abroad)
