Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) is looking for an inspirational and experienced Pharma/Industrial Vertical Offering manager to lead the next phase of innovation for our Pharma/Industrial vertical solution portfolio. This role will be based in our Atlanta office, reporting directly to the Vertical Markets Offering Management Leader.

We heard from our Pharma/Industrial vertical customers that they loved co-creating new solutions with Honeywell that address their mission critical needs; so we created a Pharma/Industrial Vertical dedicated team (from sales, marketing, and R&D), and a vertical specialized solutions architecture to solve our Pharma/Industrial vertical customer most important challenges.

The incoming Pharma/Industrial vertical Offering Manage
r for Honeywell Building Technology will lead the complex and cross-functional effort of launching these vertical specific solutions. You will be expected to conceive, design and prioritize the components of the solution based on your expertise and understanding of the Pharma/Industrial vertical market trends, needs and competition landscape. You will own your Pharma/Industrial vertical solutions completely, be willing to take bold actions rather than settling for incremental improvement and build influential relations with our ecosystem partners and key internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop amazing solution ideas and roadmaps; build shared vision and alignment across teams (sales, R&D, operations, services), and senior stakeholders, including the Leadership and Executive team

· Understand the company’s strategic and competitive position and utilize these insights to deliver best in class solutions

· Question customer behavior and use data to find answers in order to share compelling narratives about what problems our solutions solve

· Be the champion and subject matter expert of specific customer journeys and own a business portfolio

· Own the Agile development process from concept to cash

· Identify and evaluate key partnerships with external vendors and negotiate term sheets

· Work with technology teams in doing detailed analysis of the system architecture including analysis of APIs

· Prepare functional and technical specifications, while conducting gap analysis of as-is and to-be states.

· Work with UX and Development teams in designing user interaction prototypes

· Define Key Performance Indicators for the business and conduct User Acceptance Testing

· Build a Go to Market strategy in conjunction with Sales, Public Relations, Operations, and Legal teams.

· Build robust marketing plans and track the performance and optimize as needed.

· Continuously work on optimizing the customer journey funnel – market reach and adoption rates for the owned Pharma/Industrial Vertical solutions


YOU MUST HAVE

· Bachelors Degree

· 10+ years of expertise in Pharma/Industrial vertical, with a deep understanding of customer segments in Pharma/Industrial vertical, customer needs and buying behaviors

· 5+ years of product management experience within an in-house development environment, launching transformational business models i.e. outcome based pricing and recurrent revenue models

· Formed an opinion on where to play and how to win based on market knowledge: competition landscape in Pharma/Industrial vertical and competitor offering

· Sound grasp of Agile development process and methodologies

· Extensive experience launching software and hardware solutions at significant scale and complexity

· Strong knowledge of appropriate product performance metrics and a background in data-driven decision making

· Excellent data analysis skills

· Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Ability to translate complex marketing concepts to business partners and clearly articulate benefits and results.

· Highly proficient in Microsoft office; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

· You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you communicate daily with world-class talent from our global teams including marketing, product, engineering, data science, legal and finance

· You can build consensus and alignment but are not afraid to push ahead on your vision

· You are positive, committed with a 'can-do' attitude and a flexible approach

· You are a problem solver and a forward thinker

· You are a self-starter: you thrive on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight
