Job Function
Design, development, and implement white box test cases for Core Storage Drivers, USB Drivers, IO device drivers, wireless connectivity BT/WLAN drivers for all Qualcomm Chipsets to validate Linux Android Product line. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
a.Understand new features, define white box test scope, create test project plan (TPP) and test cases (TCs)
b.Review TPP and TCs with development team, finalize test strategy
c.Develop/code white box test cases, and implement automation to maximum test efficiency
d.Monitor execution progress and triage issues for all features of core BSP Sub-systems
e.Report and review status to development team
Provide support to test execution of day to day test activities, deploy/enable test setup and knowledge to improve overall project productivity without sacrificing quality of deliverables.
It is must that candidate should have expertise in scripting/automation using Perl or Java or C/C++ language. BSP R&D experience a big plus.
Responsibilities

-8 to 10 years of experience of BSP (white box) test development, R&D experience a plus
-Good knowledge on Linux Android Phone development environment and tools
-Good understanding on Linux internals
-Understanding on Automation, preferably Java, Perl, C/C++
-Basic knowledge on ARM processors
-Basic knowledge on embedded Operating systems
-Good understanding on USB Protocol and USB Compliance testing tools
-Good Understanding on Storage test tools to validate Flash, eMMC and SD/MMC drivers
-Good Understanding on BT/WLAN drivers
-Good analytical and debugging skills
-Good communication skills

BS/MS in Electrical engineering, Electrical and Computer engineering, or Computer Science, MS preferred
