Job Function
Lead R&D software BSP test case design & coding, and execution activities through R&D software feature research and development life cycle, monitor and optimize software test case efficiency, improve execution productivity, oversee test process, triage test results and issues, coordinate test case deployment, test activities, and resource among development teams , 3rd party team, QA product test team, and customers to achieve quick issue disclosure and fix turn-around.
Project planning (Hardware and human resource) for BSP white/black box test case development and execution, capture risk items ahead of the schedule and look for the possible alternate options.
Responsibilities
Skills/Experience
Good knowledge of hardware block drivers such as USB controller, SD/MMC controller, touchscreen controller, clock regime, DMA engines, I2C/SPI controller, power management IC (PMIC), and security
Good knowledge of test concept for drivers, power management, peripherals, services, storage and boot on Qualcomm chipset
Experience in R&D BSP white/black box test planning, requirement analysis, design, methods/tools and execution on Android platform
Experience with mobile UI, application development
Good leadership skill, problem solving skill, intergroup coordination and communication skills. Experience in third party management is a plus.
Good programming skills and experience in Java, Perl, C/C++ programming
Good automation development concept and implementation
Knowledge and experience in Bluetooth, GPS, Graphics and WLAN is a plus
Knowledge of wireless communication air interface such as GSM, UMTS, C2K, TD-SCDMA, and TD-LTE is a plus
8 to 10 years of experience of BSP (white box) test development, R&D experience a plus
Education Requirements
BS/MS in Electrical engineering, Electrical and Computer engineering, or Computer Science, MS preferred
