Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Product Owner

Discover the opportunity to join an international, dynamic and transversal team in charge of delivering processes, methods and tools to all internal Schneider worldwide R&D centers with strong emphasis on Business value delivery.

Schneider Digital/ Digital Engineering team is looking for an innovative Global Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Product Owner to take responsibility of end-to -end release of the LIMS product. The SE Agile Transformation presents future Digital Engineering growth and leadership opportunities for the highly successful and effective incumbent of this position. The position is co-located with the Digital Engineering LIMS Platform team in Shanghai.

Minimum Competencies:

Strong understanding of R&D processes and how laboratory services support product development and evolution programs and projects.

Expert knowledge of End-to-end Laboratory services and processes. These include, but are not limited to, management of test requests, work orders, test samples, instrumentation, scheduling, data collection, report generation and associated workflow.

Expectations and Responsibilities for Product Owner:

1. Synthesize, maintain and communicate global Schneider Electric LIMS solution vision with Business Stakeholders and Digital technical teams.

2. Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products.

3. Collaborates with Business Stakeholders, Digital Technical Platform and Architecture teams to define and maintain the Strategic LIMS Product Roadmap from concept to launch in fast paced environment.

4. Turns data insights into product releases with actionable outcomes to the Business User.

5. Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.

6. Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, epics, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

7. Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.

8. Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.

Qualifications and skills:

1. Demonstrated Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.

2. Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

3. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.

4. High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.

5. Agile processes and methodologies experience preferred.

6. Ability to prepare Business Cases that quantify the value proposition and return on investment financial analysis views.

7. Fluent in English.

8. Minimum 5 years, 10 years preferred, leading stakeholder or customer relationships engagements and prefer 3 years as a provider or consumer of laboratory services.
