Role Purpose
? To ensure supply security and optimal cost-to-serve for all assigned goods / services categories sourced for the region NEA, Thailand and Australia based on an agile and resilient supply network.
? To contribute to top line performance of business by fostering adequate procurement initiatives (ODM, supplier integration, market intelligence, supply market innovations).
? To contribute to an efficient and high performing Regional Procurement network to reach quantitative and qualitative business targets in time in full.

Main Responsibilities
1. Strategy
Contribute into development and implementation of the Regional Procurement Strategy, Sourcing Business Rules and Targets, based on Corporate and Regional Business / SC / Procurement Strategy, to meet overall strategy/business goals.
2. Service Level
Ensure required Service Level by providing agile supply security through a flexible and resilient supplier network for assigned categories
3. Cost-to-Serve
Reduce cost-to-serve by constantly challenging suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding, specifications and cost reduction potential. Identify and realize regional bundling potentials across affiliates and regions.
4. Category Management
Create regional category strategies, identify regional bundling potentials and works on their realization. Develops standard contracts. Contributes to global category strategies from a regional perspective and execute global buying strategy across global categories.
5. Supplier Management
Support supplier management through regular supplier evaluation and development activities. Follow up on results of evaluations i.e. strengthening the supplier relationship or phasing out suppliers. Identify suppliers and innovations for the network to realize additional value contribution and risk reduction.
6. Global / Regional IIM
Support the global/regional IIM process to ensure quick and excellent execution. Support availability and value maximization for new and existing products according to regional strategy and pro-actively bring in supply market innovations.
7. Stakeholder Management
Influence major decisions through reasoned analysis and business understanding. Build credibility, create a positive climate and work well with both members of the regional leadership team and senior management elsewhere within the business.

Qualification & Experience
1. University degree and min 5 years in procurement
2. proactive, creative, pragmatic, cost-conscious, result oriented
3. strong personal integrity with professional ethics and intercultural competencies
4. Understanding of procurement and its processes - specially in Category Management, Negotiations and Contract Management
5. Strong communicating, influencing, networking and interpersonal skills
6. English business fluent
