To undertake the following responsibilities in coordination with Regional/Global IT resources and policies:

Tasks:

· Support users/key users in functional areas on JD Edwards World Software Version A7.3 Cum 6, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

· Support other business systems including Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, CRM, and Print Overlay tools

· Analyze JD Edwards data to determine root cause of errors and create reports according to business requirements. This includes training material, user guides and project documentation

· Coordinate activities related to the ERP system, including input/output management and data integrity

· Analyze business processes and make proposals for process improvements for operational efficiency

· Be involved in all phases of relevant business projects

· Create documentation on topics such as software solutions and general system knowledge, programme specifications etc.

· Train and supervise junior IT staff in learning JD Edwards and other business systems so that they are qualified to provide support to end users. Additionally, provide training sessions to users on the concept of JD Edwards and basic functionality

IT Qualifications and Requirements

· Business /Accounting degree or IT degree or equivalent

· Trained in Oracle J.D. Edwards World (A7.3 or higher) with a minimum of 5 year’s experience

· Minimum 5 year’s ERP support experience in a medium sized operation

· At least 5 year’s experience of analysing/improving business processes

· Technical understanding of iSeries servers, IBM Client Access, and Query/SQL tools and IBM Client Access printer sessions

· Good Working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, DB2, and data analysis

· Prior experience in Planet Press (or other print overlay tool), CRM (Customer Relations Management), and EDI

· Proven ability to develop technical specifications/functional business requirements and work with developers to produce agreed systems enhancements and additional reports

· Prior experience in upgrading or implementing new releases of JD Edwards or other ERP software

Future Project Focus

· Knowledge of Business Process Management Suite and BPM architecture beneficial

· Experience in Global IT projects a plus

· Demonstrates an interest in keeping up-to-date in the latest IT trends

General

· At least 5 year’s international business exposure using Business English

· Prior dealings with enterprise functions including SCM, Marketing and Manufacturing

· Self-motivated individual who enjoys the challenge of new systems and processes

· Good communicator
