岗位职责:

Job description

This position will join a group of scientists to support the company’s biologics discovery services.  The main responsibility is to expand capability of protein analytics to support protein characterization. 

Responsibilities

？ Serve as a key expert in protein LC-MS, to enhance overall LC-MS technical capability  

？ Perform protein characterization using LC-MS, HPLC, and other common protein analytical methodologies.

？ Design and perform experiments independently, and under minimal supervision. Help with LC-MS trouble-shooting

？ Contribute to maintain laboratory operations to ensure standardize and streamline work flow and organized environment. Maintain instruments in usable condition.

？ Manage work and project plan according to timeline and functional goals and objectives.

？ Communicate proactively with peers and to management with regard to project plan, execution and completion. 

？ Trouble shooting technical problem as needed.

 

任职资格:

Qualifications

？ BS in science or biological science fields (chemistry, biology, biochemistry, etc.), with advanced degree (MS or PhD) preferred.  At least 5 years of working experience post-graduation.  Comprehensive knowledge of protein structure features and analytics.

？ Strong expertise and extensive experience in LC-MS, its instrumentation and technologies as well as applications in protein, including mass, charge, sequence and modifications.  At least 3-5 years of working in protein LC-MS field.

？ Experience of other protein analytical technologies such as HPLC and UPLC with different modes of separation, CE, isoelectric focusing, spectroscopy, etc.

？ Experience of protein expression and purification

？ Required competency skills include collaboration, organization, communication and hardworking in a dynamic environment.

？ Record of publication in scientific journals.

？ Fluent English and Chinese, verbal and written skills.
