Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• Leader of the Internal Monitoring Team (IMT) under the GGO Controllership Team and reports directly to the GGO China Region Controller • IMT team members are currently expected to be drawn from Global Ops Finance Team. Details will be worked out when the Leader is on board • Responsible for (a) conducting monitoring and controllership review for major and remote sites in GGO China Region (Mainland Mongolia ) in accordance with distributed controllership guidelines; and (b) conducting monitoring and controllership review for joint ventures (JV) in GGO China Region • Internal monitoring and controllership reviews for major & remote sites and JVs include (but not limited to) (a) Financial reviews; (b) Compliance reviews; and (c) Other Advisory reviews • Financial reviews generally include a review of key financial cycles (receivables, payables, inventory etc.), validate STAT to GAAP process, compliance with GE GAAP and MAP, account reconciliation and other similar controllership procedures • Compliance reviews generally include a review of the site’s control infrastructure & business rigor to ensure compliance with GE compliance rules (e.g. FCPA, IPIP etc.) and local regulations • Other Advisory could include ad-hoc projects that support GE corporate and region initiatives. Examples include Enterprise Standard implementation, MAP20.30 compliance and other similar projects • Provide education and training as necessary to GE personnel at remote sites and JVs to support Controllership and compliance • Provide regular reporting of controllership and compliance metrics on remote sites and JVs

Qualifications/Requirements

• Good Bachelor’s degrees in accounting or finance• Preferably with more than 8 - 10 years of relevant working experience in Finance role of multinational company, trading company experience is a plus• Demonstrated understanding of local statutory requirement, Familiar with free trade zone, and electronic industrial HS Code classification is a plus• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, writing, interpersonal and communication skills• Self-starter, creative, exhibits ownership, initiative, clear thinker and able to work as a team• Proactive with strong leadership and growth potential. Results oriented and able to handle stretch goals and targets• Ability to work in an independent and unsupervised environment• Excellent on Microsoft Office applications• Fluent in spoken and written English• Working experience in other MNC is preferred• Able to handle and manage frequent travels

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin
