Role Summary/Purpose

In this role you will be responsible for the design of the Oracle Financial modules that meets the needs of the organization; manage complex issues within area of expertise; be responsible for short and long term strategic planning/design, and contribute to the overall ERP Solutions success.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and assist the requirements gathering process through solution design for Oracle ERP Implementations. Ensure conformance to system architecture, standards and practices. • Identify critical path decisions; make recommendations, and influence leaders and process owners for design-related activities. • Work and coordinate with the various IM teams and drive a consolidated GE and Oil & Gas Compliant implementation. • Lead global teams and third party vendors gathering best practices and standard solutions. • Develop To Be configuration requirements • Provide continuity across all modules, applications, and interfaces • Participate in all process design and information discovery efforts • Create system specifications (configuration requirements, conversion requirements, modification requirements, and interface requirements) • Participate in package configuration sessions • Create system design and ensure compliance to specifications. • Assist in developing operating procedures, training materials, assist in developing test strategy and plan, test scripts and cases for end-user acceptance testing • Change management Leadership - working with IM leaders and business users to ensure solution integrity

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of information systems design, implementation, or integration) • At least 5 additional years of experience in large program or ERP implementations • Significant experience with Oracle Project Accounting • Minimum 2 years Financial Application project skills • Expertise on Oracle ERP financial modules • Demonstrated experience in full systems development life cycle. • Strong project management skills (multiple, simultaneous). • Experience in SOX IT and Financial processes and associated documentation • Full understanding of the software change management processes incorporating multiple releases and business teams • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills • Matrix organization skills / ability to motivate multiple groups to maintain collaboration. • Minimum 1 year of experience working with offshore/onshore functional/technical teams. • Ability to quickly identify and analyze project risks & impact. Recommend alternatives & prioritizations. • High energy, customer passion & attention to detail • Effective interpersonal skills. • Experience with MS Project, Visio, and Support Central including workflows
