Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensures and facilitates revenue growth of lighting products in its responsible region. Work with customers directly or partner with third party to increase pipelines and drive sales to closure. The objective is to achieve sales and profit target set by the company. • Establish sales channel and develop customer relationship in target market. Participate in local or regional events as required to support regional sales growth. • Actively engaged in distributor management in its region to achieve best productivity and compliance with company requirements. • Pipeline management. Monitor and scrutinize CRM pipeline forecast to ensure accuracy, steady upward momentum. • In pursuit of being professional during all aspects of sales process and touch points including but not limited to: lead “deal reviews” as part of the regular QMI and sales review; walk through Project GM on open opportunities as part of the ongoing pipeline review; and discuss open opportunities, overall pipeline, strategy and next steps towards closing opportunities within the region in the most profitable manner. • Leverage the resources of GE in China to maximize sales force effectiveness • Lead, support and manage the regional sales team to make sure they meet and/or exceed their personal sales goals. Monitor and track team performance and improve team’s effectiveness.


Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, major in power utility, automation and electrical engineering, or equivalent. • At least 5 years sales experience with proven track record in the above-mentioned fields plus two years in a leading sales role in multinational company using a formal sales process to manage opportunities. • Experienced in solution selling and closing project pipelines. • Strong communication and leadership skill, ability to interface and influence different levels of customers both internal and external. • Strongly self-motivated. Can Lead/Manage/Develop and Mentor effectively. • Fluent English and Mandarin both in written and spoken.
