Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Finance Supervisory and Leadership
- Lead and direct finance operations, planning and analyses including monthly closing and rolling forecast, annual budget and 5-year plan for China Group
- Implement insightful and meaningful financial reporting, including KPI and variances analyses
- Collaborate with business executives and recommend recovery and/or improvement plans
- Establish financial strategic objectives as well as operating policies and procedures in line with organisational objectives
- Manage capital expenditure process and cash flow in compliance with local capital controls and regulations, develop banking relationships and treasury functions
- Identify / Resolve potential and actual audit, tax and accounting issues, ensure compliance with all legal, tax and regulatory requirements
- Establish / Enhance finance SOPs and controls; drive adoption of best practices and efficiencies across China Group entities
- Develop financial metrics, methods and/or systems to mitigate or manage risks
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems
- Lead, engage, motivate and nurture China Finance team

2) Projects and Investments Management
- Drive / Support operation and M&A projects; develop project scope / goals / deliverables / timelines
- Participate in JV board or shareholders’ meetings
- Support management in matters such as formulation of business and strategic expansion plans
- Identify / Resolve potential or actual project issues
- Act as liaison with government agencies / officials when needed
- Lead the ownership restructuring of existing investments in China

3) Corporate Administration
- Prepare / Review board papers, presentation decks, resolutions, official letters
- Liaise with HQ and seek HQ management / board approval as and when needed
- Develop and implement policies and procedures

Requirements:
? Degree in Accountancy / Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
? Technically competent with at least 15 years of progressive finance experience including FP&A and controller experience, ideally with at least 3 years in a Big 4 accounting firm
? Strong planning skills to support dynamic business requirements; high degree of initiative and problem solving skills
? A hands-on leader with high level of integrity and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
? Passion for building and leading teams and development of talent
? Good command of English and Chinese both in speaking and writing
? Meticulous and cautious in completing tasks
? Knowledge of ERP and Hyperion systems is an advantage
